I want to chill out with my friends and have a few drinks, is there a bar on campus?

Yes, there is a bar on campus besides the Jacobs Kindergarten. We call it the TheOtherside.

I missed my dinner but it’s almost midnight, where can I buy something?

You can do so at the Pulse. There are some local restaurant that deliver to your room. Fliers are always found lying around at signboards or dinner tables.

I want my family and friends to send me some packages and/or letters, what address should I give them? How do I receive the packages and/or letters?

X = 7 for College III, 6 for Mercator, 4 for Krupp, 3 for Nordmetall
Y = You will receive your mailbox number with your welcome package at the welcome desk. Sometimes, large packages are received at the Student Service Centre (The one in the Admin building opposite to the Registrar) and they send you an email letting you know that you can pick it up. Normal letters are mostly put in your mailbox (so check from time to time!)

Me and my friends want throw a birthday party, is there a place we can reserve?

Yes, you can reserve for the Blue Lounge or the GSA Lounge by sending a request by email to the Chair of Internal Procedure Committee of the USG and Activities Coordinator of the GSA respectively.

I get so tensed up during exams, is there some place I can chill out?

Yes, we have Cheer Ups organized by the college office of each college where you can meet others, watch a movie, have some ice cream, cookies, coffee, juice and much more! Its a perfect stress-buster! If its exam time, look around for the cheer-up schedule!
