The Alfried Krupp College was the first of Jacobs University’s three residential colleges. It was funded by a 10 million DM contribution from the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Stiftung which is where its name comes from. The Krupp-Stiftung is one of the biggest and most significant established foundations in Germany; supporting Jacobs from the very beginning.

The Alfried Krupp College is home to approximately 175 undergraduate and 8 graduate students representing various nationalities from all over the world. It provides students with all the facilities required for a happy, comfortable and enjoyable life to make them feel at home, far from home. More information can be found on their
website.
